| Hello, my name is Bruce Duarte Jr. and I would like to take this opportunity to announce my candidacy for Re-Election. I am a husband , a father and own a home on Kempton street in our Great City. I was educated in the New Bedford Public School System. I am proud to say I've lived in The City of New Bedford my whole life. I furthered my education with a course in management from the Professional Career Development Institute. I have worked with the Bristol County Sheriffs Office for seventeen years. As your Ward 4 Councillor together we have accomplished so much. Teamwork is our best asset! From "New Bedford Idol" a talant show promoting our beautiful youth, Serenity Gardens at the old Morse Site, new sidewalks in parts of our Ward that have never had them, to working with "WHALE" to renovate homes in our Historic south end and so much more.
